Memory scope architecture (live on feat/memory-scopes branch): Three-tier memory — core (always-on, never evicted, in system prompt), session (in system prompt, evicted after 4hr idle), ephemeral (FTS5 prefetch only, evicted after 7 days). Scope tags [scope:X] auto-added on save, backward-compat (untagged = core). System prompt only injects core+session, ephemeral excluded. Plan at ~/.hermes/plans/2026-04-20_memory-architecture-upgrade.md. Remaining tasks: classifier (Task 4), FTS5 access tracking (Task 3), per-scope limits (Task 7), eviction (Tasks 5+6), recent context buffer (Task 10).
